Just some thoughts...

Just some thoughts collected over a few days.
"I normally think that, in order to feel good in a relationship, you must, in first place, feel good with yourself! It's one of the reasons why I think that after a relationship, you should spend some time alone, finding once again that inner peace that makes you feel good with yourself, not really needing anyone else.Unfortunatly, sometimes your self confidence is shaken and almost destroyed by someone who is totally undeserving of your attention and your care. Those are the ones that make us build walls around ourselfs for protection. The more undeserving people we meet, the thicker and higher the walls around us get, making it even more difficult for someone good to pass that wall and conquer our heart.
So I question myself, do I have my walls well up and strong? I'm quite sure I don't, but will there be someone that will come and put them down, completely, leaving no brick, leaving no marks that there were ever walls around me? Someone that will stand next to me, completing me, making me feel whole again? Someone that will love me for me, with all my flaws, with all the good and all the bad I have?
The truth is, after so much time alone, and feeling alone, I started loosing the feeling of being good on my own. I would say that friends have a very important role in this as well, since it's their support that makes us feel so good no matter what! But when your friends are in a different country, and few people you meet in your new life never really make it to be good friends, that support doesn't really exist, right? So, what to do, and how to hang on, by yourself?"
